At 7:00pm, at the CVTC Chippewa Falls campus, 770 Scheidler Road, the Assembly Democratic Leader, Rep. Gordon Hintz of Oshkosh, will be joining Rep. Jodi Emerson as part of a statewide series of public forums on the topic of expanding Medicaid and strengthening BadgerCare, as proposed by Governor Evers in his 2019 state budget plan.

This event is being conducted through their legislative offices, non-partisan, and open to the public and media. We are sure the audience will include local conservatives who will speak out against the Governor's proposal which would provide health care coverage to an estimated 82,000 people in Wisconsin. Accepting the federal funding in the Medicaid expansion would free up $320 million in the state budget to be used in other ways to un-do the eight years of damage done by Scott Walker. His refusal to accept the Medicaid expansion --a part of the Affordable Care Act-- has already cost Wisconsin taxpayers $1.1 billion. Come share your reasons for urging legislators to fight GOP attempts to kill this plan for improving BadgerCare.
